Hello, my name is Mizy Miyagi. I am an early childhood educator dedicated to fostering creativity, curiosity, and meaningful learning experiences for young children. My journey in education began in 2016 when I started working as an art assistant teacher at an art studio. Through this experience, I witnessed the unique ways children grow and learn, each at their own pace. This deepened my appreciation for early childhood development and reminded me of my own childhood—caring for my younger sisters while my parents were busy with work.These early experiences instilled in me a passion for nurturing children’s creativity and helping them explore the world through play and discovery. Now, as an educator at a daycare center in Durham, NC, I am committed to providing a supportive and enriching environment where children can develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong love for learning.​
